smeSpire NetworksmeSpire is a geo-ICT SMEs Network open to any interested stakeholder. To join our Network, you are kindly invited to participate in a survey. The survey aims to collect information related to the knowledge and skills within SMEs, like your company, relating to Geo-ICT, INSPIRE Directive and the impacts in your organization.
 
This is a great opportunity to promote your business, advertise your skills and get in touch with other realities similar to yours, in order to enlarge your market throughout the European Union.

The INSPIRE Conference 2013 


The aim of the INSPIRE Conference is to exchange views and experiences on how INSPIRE is meeting past and emerging challenges and needs. To identify new opportunities and to finally, reflect collectively on how INSPIRE can further evolve to maximise its benefits for society. 
 
The INSPIRE Conference 2013 will take place from Sunday 23rd - Thursday 27th June 2013 in Florence, Italy. More information
 

Geospatial World Forum 2013 

 
The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission is organizing a one-day Dialogue Session “Leveraging the SMEs’ strength for INSPIRE” at the 2013 Geospatial World Forum.
The objective of the Dialogue Session is to share the experiences of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in developing innovative solutions based on INSPIRE and Open Data policies, and make recommendations on how to exploit the opportunities further.
JRC is looking for high-quality examples of SMEs to explore the extent to which INSPIRE and related policies increasing access to environmental and PSI are offering opportunities to SMEs to innovate, create new services, growth, and jobs.
 
Geospatial World Forum 2013 will take place on 13-16 May 2013 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. More information.

2013 DUBLIN CONFERENCES


The Convention Centre Dublin has been chosen to host a series of global and European level conferences on geographic digital information. Running from 4-8 March 2013 the conferences will look at how digital information, and geographic information in particular, can be used to address environmental, economic development and governance issues. 
The conference will also focus on the innovation opportunities and potentialities for SMEs and stakeholders in the area of environmental and geospatial information, services, and applications.

  • EUROGI imagine Conference (7-8 March)
